I am interested in finding out all the information I can about performance parts for these Tahoes/Yukons/Escaldes. I come from a different background(Ford) and mainly dealt with the cars. I love speed and Ive seen plenty of people on this forum that have performance upgrades that I would have never thought of. I want to see what other people have so maybe I can get an idea of where I want my Tahoe to go

I have run consistent 12.5's with my setup. Currently my procharger is off being rebuilt into a better D-1sc. Ultimate goal is to break into the 11's.

Also ran it a couple weeks ago naturally aspirated. Went 14.4 @ 90mph

Travieso may be another one to check on. I know he's pretty well modded with performance goodies

That video is sick. I wish it showed the time at the track where he beat the mustang. This will be a project over time but I know that I'll want something more.

Im toying with the idea of headers. Seams like a pretty easy install. Not easy but not terrible. Headers have always seemed to free up the low end grunt that Ive always wanted out of my previous vehicles. And the added sound is always a plus.

Any input on the brand? Im wanting a shorty or equal length so that the Y pipe wont have to be messed with. I don't want to spend thousands. Just yet.

Don't want to sound like a Newb but why? In my previous cars(mainly Mustangs) longtubes only gave a small amount more power and torque vs equal length shorties. Now, they had a very restrictive cast manifold from the factory. Why would the LS engines NEED longtubes? If its trure, than I'll just wait, but I just want to know how they benefit so much from longtubes.
