I can finally crank my 1000.1 up on these bitches one they reach break-in. Building the box this week, flush mounting the subs .88cf/sub sealed so the box will be even smaller than the single L7 enclosure. I'm giving it a week before I order a bigger amp for my highs, these should hammer :evillol:

Kicker makes somenice audio stuff, I was gonna do omething with an L7 but have other needs first.
I almost mistaked this thing for a SoloX sub, I was wondering how the hell you could power that thing.

Yeah they're new, made like the og solos small sealed boxes with big output. Hope they slam, I've heard very good things about them.

Well I still have to break them in but I already love em. Quick and clean, play really low. I'm sooo stoked and can't wait until I can turn em up

They're pretty well broken in and loud as ****. I still haven't turned the gain up but having more surface area sounds so much better. These are more responsive than my 10" L7 a few years back, definitely some the cleanest sounding subs I've owned. I can stuff way more crap in my truck now too. Can't wait til they loosen up more, thanks to my local kicker dealer for being so chill about warranty for the wacky issue with my L7. I can't rave enought about these subs, makes driving my truck all the more enjoyable.

Now that they've loosened up the subs sound even better. I'm still letting them play with the gain fairly low but I can tell they'll take some serious power without issue. Sounds nice and clean and all I'm running are two subs and two components. This should work until I have some money to really go crazy, if I can ever find some captain's chairs I'd like to build a long center console with four sealed 10s downfiring.

Alpine CDA-9886 head unit, I'll scoop a 2din soon for navi and a backup camera. The solos are much better than I'd hoped. After driving around a few weeks they are still kinda stiff and have yet to distort. Every time I throw more power at them they loosen up a bit and sound even cleaner. Really stoked on the sound quality and I'm looking into new components and a bigger amp just to keep up with them. I don't like bass heavy stereos but these sound great all I can hear is crisp, clean music. Some of the best speakers I've ever owned.
