What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

well got to finally start packing up the damn motor and sending it off i got the pallet today and i am hoping i get to get the motor on it today and i am able to ship her off either today or tomorrow and have her shipped soon! i want to drive that damn thing again.

finally had the chance to give the trucks a very long overdue wash. hoping to know when i can expect the tahoe to fit in the garage by the end of the week (and the ridiculous amount im spending to make it fit in the garage... ) 'Hoe needs detailed BAD.

Replaced the broken passenger Eski Headlight then removed about 150ft of Stereo Cable from the interior in preparation for a whole new sound system. I also cranked the front keys all the way down and now just waiting for a flip kit for the rear. Its slowly but surely getting there!

It is a repro, can tell just by looking it is that the tooling is slightly different, such as around the emblem area.. But otherwise, it looks to be of good quality. Ill be installing it after the NATO summit this weekend, I'll post pics etc. of the build in a new thread.

Just got done with a 2500 mile roadtrip from Alaska with a 3000lb trailer in tow and 1000 lbs of junk in the trunk. Averaged 13.6 mpg all the way.

Washed my 'HOE' today and finally got around to using rubbing compound throughout , and followed that with a nice wax and polish. Looking really good, now to get around to repairing the rust on the lower fenders and doors.

Upgraded from 2 10" subwoofers to 2 12" subwoofers. I decided to try the $30 Dual sd12 subs from walmart... They sound good to me and move way more air than the 2 Rockford Fosgate HX2s. Damn good deal for $30 IMO. I bought 2 more so I'm going to build a box behind the back seat with all 4 in a row. I just need to get a new amplifier and run them off about 800 watts.

Did several things to the ol' hoe today.

First off.. yesterday i received the 6" rough country in the mail. went with the 2.2 shock upgrade. Will be installed later today. woot woot!

Installed vent shades. $38 shipped on Amazon

Went to Pick-n-Pull a couple days ago & picked up a rear sway bar, out of all the 4 door Tahoe's I've seen & worked on mine didn't have a rear sway bar, maybe because it's a 2wd???? Installed it yesterday with four new Monroe Reflex shocks and what an improvement.

I used my Yukon to go buy some 4x8 sheets of MDF today.

So if you were wondering, 4x8 sheets do fit. They were only sticking out about 1.5 feet, so they probably fit in a suburban with the doors closed.

Nice! i need to finish up the dual line one in mine, mirrors in just need to repin and run the temp probe wiring (96's didn't have it ) i'll have to keep an eye out for one without all the on-star stuff on the bottom of it, looks out of place on my windshield.

the Hoe got bumped back up to daily driver for a while, lost a freeze plug out of the block on the sonoma on the way to work yesterday morning. previous owner must have done a ****** job putting it in... never in a million years would i expect to loose a freeze plug and not the radiator or hoses.
