Here are a couple pics of the install JK and I are doing this weekend, nothing too fancy yet - as I can't really afford much else right now with all that's going on. Gunna post up all the steps we're going through over the 48hours....today is father's day so we can't really get down and dirty till tomorrow....

Of course, cigars and crown were close at hand LOL!

So, we yanked the doors and dash out at 2am last night so I could start dyna'matting and JK could start sawzall'ing that dash away :rocking:

+1 oh what it is you guys are doing. If I would have known, I would have come over with some relief...and when I say relief, I mean a case of beer.

You're still welcome to swing through! We'll be partying, uh installing, through most of tonight and all day Monday. We're going take some pics of the trucks Monday afternoon/evening, probably with the 360 Bridge as the backdrop. Did you get your truck back?

I coulda used some of that relief after MY day man WOW! Headed out to San Antonio to see Justin for my tune around 3pm, and was driving down the interstate. Me? Middle lane doing about 70. So, I looked off to the side of the road and saw a big cloud of dust on the median that separates the frontage road with the interstate. Well, out of that cloud of dust comes a car, FLIPPING end over and and spinning at 60ph and eventually lands right in front of me! I think it must have flipped 6 times and was just mangled to all hell.. I slammed on my brakes to avoid hitting the vehicle, jumped outta my truck in the middle of the interstate, smashed the windshield of the person's crumpled up car with my hammer and pulled a lady out. Luckliy no one was profusely bleeding but I seriously suspect internal injuries or head trauma...

Then, as if that wasn't enough drama being a good samaritan after I said I would never do it again, after my BB tune in San Antone, I blew my new transmission 3/4 clutch! (DISCLAIMER: Tranny had nothing to do with Justin's tune BTW - truck performed outstanding!) Drove from San Antone to Austin in 2nd gear, 2k rpms, 20mph :wtf2: and dropped that ***** off at JK's house so I could go get drunk as a skunk which I'm currently doing BTW. And this is the 2nd time it's blown 3/4 in a week! Gdamn day....

BUT I'm pumped I'm finally getting some A/V and my viper alarm installed by the man himself! :rocking:

NO. I have basically DIDDLY SQUAT for power under my hood, compared to how my tranny is built to handle. This thing will support a blower and then some and it's fuking up real bad for having so many upgrades on it and a guy who claims he specializes in the 4l60e. For what it's worth, my shop came recommended by another local shop owner who drag races as a hobby and says this shop builds all his race trannys. Not sure what to think at this point to be honest...gunna take it back to him and review the install.

Man I wish I wouldn't have had to work last night. I would have come by to check things out. I didn't get to leave the ballpark until 10:30 and just went home. My A/C at home went out last night, so that was awesome. Repair man came out this morning so all is good.

Yeah, I have mine back. Look pretty good, but there are still a few things that need to be done to it. My next off weekend doesn't come until 4th of July, so I'll be doing some work to it then. PM me your number and I'll shoot you a text if I can make it out to the photo shoot...that is if you guys are still having one. Sorry to hear about the bad day Boss!

cool...so what's the install plans on this?

Well, like I was kinda warning it's nothing TOO fancy yet but I'm getting the majority of the big pieces that count towards a good sounding system in, but we have plans to glass up some stuff later this summer - including a cigar humidor. :D

This weekend I brought him a double-din pioneer with Ipod connector, 2 sets of JL 650si components, 2 pioneer 10subs, pioneer 1k amp, Viper 5901 with tilt sensor, audio sensor, window activation, auto start, perimeter sensor...I think that's all the alarm modules LOL! I might have missed a couple

Dynamat is NOT fun. Took me about 6-8 hours to do all 4 doors and the hatch correctly. I also did the inside door panels where I could. My hands look as if Edward Scissor-Hands was having a thumb-war with me...

So as a result of my tranny issue, I needed a tow. Who better than JK? :rocking:

I guess the 104deg. weather here in TX was what really kicked our asses..we were working mid day outside. The mating was just a pain in the ass after the second door, I just got real sick of doing it in a pool of sweat :word:
