Programming Key Fob

I have two key fobs for my 2020 Tahoe. One is driver 1 the other is driver 3. Is there any way I can change the driver 3 to driver 2?

The processes for doing this without tools or the dealership are in your owner's manual. A bi-directional scan tool (compatible with GDS) should also be able to do it.

I'm in the exact same situation. I considered doing it, read the procedures, and decided that I would just remain "Driver 3" instead. Sounded like waaay too much trouble to me.

Mine did not allow the DIY procedure, I had the dealer reprogram the keys. I needed it to be correct so I could program teen limits on the #2 key fob.
