It definitely shifts in to all gears fine, you can feel the clicks as they engage, you can pull back just doesn't quite "drop" into M
Thanks

Anyone know what I may need to do? It shift fine into all gears except,m ,new shift arm? Seems the cable is correct, since all positions line up. Is there a possibility of a relay or fuse causing this? I definitely feel all detents in the shifter and really no slop.
Any ides and thanks

If you crawl under the car, can you manually shift it to "M"? Don't forget to set the parking brake and chalk the wheels so you don't get run over.

If you can, you may have a cable problem. If you cannot, you may have an internal problem with the shifter inside the transmission.

Ok so a little more seat time, it will go to m but I have to pull down fairly hard , kinda slam it. Is this normal or is something else going on?
Thank you
