I have a 2019 Z71 Tahoe that is getting a major audio upgrade, and that includes running some large cables to the rear area of the vehicle.
I'm running 2/0 copper.
I'm curious if anyone has done this running power under the vehicle vs. through the cabin. Running cable that large inside the cabin is proving difficult as the "normal" channel people use for power isn't large enough ( or at least mine doesn't have enough room in with all the other wires in it ).
Is it crazy to run this power feed under the vehicle and then come up in the rear area ( through some sort of rubber grommet )?
Note -> I'm taking out the 3rd row power folding seats, so I'll have plenty of options for where to bring the cable into the cabin from underneath the vehicle.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
