Hey y'all,

New to the forum and just wanted to say hi! Owned my 1999 5.7L 4x4 Tahoe for 13 years. Have had many ups and downs and great memories with it. All the stress and heartache she has given me; I just can't come to the conclusion of selling her.

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions.

Pics of the truck, please.

I know how you feel. I broke my heart to bring my 1997 Yukon SLE (RIP) to the salvage yard, after the frequency of breakdowns/repairs became just too frequent and too expensive.

Thank you so much! I've tried to take very well care of it these past 13 years. It's been a lot of work, but the work pays off. She's got a few little door dings here and there so not perfect. But she never seizes to put a smile on my face when I'm behind the wheel and she's running right. I appreciate all the warm welcomes!

Hi, I see you have had your '99 for some time, I have had mine for 3 years and now need to replace the fuel lines. I have had difficulty with several local mechanics not being able to get proper parts. Have you ever had to replace the fuel lines, and if so, did you have trouble finding parts? (PS, I'm never selling mine)

No sir, I have never had to replace any fuel lines, yet. I say yet because I am having a fueling issue right now that is TBD. I will update you if it comes to that.

I will never sell mine either.

I've been raising my 3 kids in this truck since the moment the first came home from birth, and it has been through many different states with us. A lot of sentimental value.
