i just bought a Volant cold air intake and the difference is incredible compared to the stock tube but after 20-30 minutes my service stabilitrack/traction control lights came up and than the check engine light. These lights seemed to go on and off and on and off etc so I checked everything and looked online to find it was maybe my Air flow sensor so I looked and it was clean so than I checked leaks in the tube and none. Anyone else have issues like this? Ive tried disconnecting the battery and it pops on after 5-10 miles. Only thing I dont know is that the rubber hose from the Volant tube to the Engine I took off my stock one and slid this over it so could that be it? Any tips? Thanks guys.

I had the CEL issue as well. Disconnected the battery for an hour and no more light. Not sure if you need to go that long but maybe 5-10 min isn't enought. Also did you get a replacement o-ring for the MAF? I did not and i don't recall the instructions indicating that there should be one. But i saw a post from Volant1 stating that this should be replaced. I pm'd him and got one shipped no prob. Though it didn't look all that different from the stock red o-ring.

This reminds me of when I cleaned my MAF last, I forgot to plug back the harness to the MAF sensor and the truck started throwing those codes (which I have got before due to suspesnion stuff) and I thinking WTF!!!
I looked and looked at the uspension sensors and everything was fine so I was like screw it I'm going to take a shower, mid way through the shower I was like wow I forgot to plug the harness back, so I went back and did it and the codes disappeared.
So make sure everything is plugged back tight.....

You could have just jacked up the MAF when you installed it, considering the internal part of it is not supposed ot be toched, or come in contact with any debris, should not be dropped either.
Have you noticed bad MPG, if so, I bet the issue is MAF related.
