Ok. I have searched every forum i can find and no one can seem to help me on this very weird issue. 2008 Chevy Tahoe LTZ 4X4 5.3L. My left front turn signal doesn't work. The mirror signal and rear signal work. Whats weird is I have to leave the bulb out because when I plug it in to the bulb holder the bulb immediately lights up and stays lit. With no key in ignition and lights off and blinkers off But it gets weider. As soon as I plug in the bulb there is a loud whistling noise that comes from the washer fluid pump. Now if I leave the bulb lut the washer pump works fine no whistling noise. And i can't leave bulb in and unplug the washer pump because the light just stays on no matter what I do. Please help me out. I know I am over looking something or maybe someone has heard or seen this problem before. And I am pretty good at trouble shooting electrical issues but this one has me stumped. Thanks for any help you may be able to give. I appreciate your time and effort in helping me out with this. It's late tonight but I will attach a short video tomorrow to this .

Shorted HOT wires or the turn signal is the new ground path. This is a huge issue because the wire is undersized and rated for like 5amps on the wire and it's the new path of least resistance. which means you got some broken wires to look for

AKA a fire HAZARD:flamingdevil::flamingdevil::flamingdevil: I WOULD NOT OPERATE THE SUV, ALSO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY immediately ..

pull one fuse/relay at a time tell the light turns off and you found your shorted HOT wire..

i would start with the washer fluid pump fuse faulty ground wire is a potential as well

could be a faulty muti switch, hazard switch as well or faulty ground connection at the muti switch

I included a circuit diagram

Thank you BG1988. I pulled the fuse box and started looking for wires grounded out so the fuse box is currently out so no fire hazard. But I can reinstall it to check it that way I just didn't want to leave the bulb in it listening to that loud whistle noise while I sat there and pulled fuse after fuse and relay after relay. But looks like I may have to. Also a mental note that may have is I am sure you know about 5he Washer Heater Recall and the fix for that. Which was to install an lin line fuse and a wiring harness and pull the 60 amp main fuse for the Washer Fluiid Heater. So that was the direction I was heading but I cannot find any diagrams or pinouts for the said Recall Fix. To see if they maybe cut a wire or installed the harness wrong or something. So if anyone knows about and or has that diagram of the Recall Harness Instalation that would be a tremendous help. Thanks again for your time and I will keep you posted on fi ding

the recall fix was to remove the heater if not mistaken

plug in the light bulb pull each fuse one at a time tell the light turns off. this way you know which wires are shorted...
