What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Can anyone tell me who the hell came up with the idea to put monitors on every gas pump and then thought the best option was to let them play at full volume? I was pumping gas about 2:30am and nearly started throwing rear elbows at the pump, thinking someone was trying to sneak up and play a prank on me. A guy pulled up right about that time and I could tell the look in his eyes was saying something like “uhh…this crazy MF is literally throwing blows with an imaginary person, it’s like the parking lot scene from fight club. Should I just keep driving or stop and record this?”

No joke. He pulled at the pump furthest from me. Put it in park. Left his car running and then locked the door.

Back to the original point….What’s with the screens! I know I don’t get out much, especially not without adult supervision. Are these things everywhere? They’re distracting and incredibly annoying.

A new way of advertising. Get used to it. They’re in bathrooms now too. Take a piss and an ad plays right in your face. Luckily in my state we still have station attendants pump your gas, so it doesn’t really work since the screens are pointed at the back of my truck and I just roll up the window and turn up the music.

it's the start of directed advertising, soon enough in the future facial recognition will be blended with advertising, so anywhere you are seen then advertising will be directed at you based on your footprint. no bull just a matter of time
as for now the station might get a little money incentive for the ad play

Thank you! I knew I remember having some fitment issues but there’s too much rattling around in the ole brain box to remember it all.

My line of thinking is that it's just metal tubing to conduct engine farts. If it doesn't quite do what I want, it's nothing a little hammer massaging or cutting and welding can't resolve. Modding the mods is all part of the fun! IMO, focus primarily on what you really want out of the headers themselves (cats/no cats, material, coated or non-, etc.) and secondarily any mild fitment issues since their resolutions are well-known.

Time for a disc defrag and memory upgrade.

Ours all have a mute button. It’s part of my normal fueling procedure now.

If you’re asking if the header pipes for 4wd/AWD are interchangeable, yes. Just like engine blocks are the same size for LS between different displacements, the components for 4/ AWD are the same physical size. Mine aren’t coated or wrapped. Doug Thorley or Gibson are more old school,IMO, better suited for SBC. ARH will run you around $2k uncoated.

I was looking at just a new y pipe for a 6.2 and it's about the same price....

I don't know if I want to do headers again, did it on the vette.
I love it there, but the manifolds are easier to work on.


Been thinking about it a bit, with my luck i'll fix one issue and then have something stupid like a plugged cat messing with my tuning.
