Yup. Even of the stations that have it, most is poor quality: according to @BBP. We have it at all these new-built “*** & Go” station, but I was informed the quality is not good. So I drive about 25 miles round trip to fill up at an “Alta”, who sell Conoco.(but the E85 is not a Conoco product), so I’m unsure where they buy their E85, but it’s better than the *** & Go stuff.
I get mine at a Mobil about 2 miles from my house. There's also a BP and a Phillip's within 5-10 miles that have it, but it seems lower quality.

I see that there is an Alta station not that far from me that offers E85 and gets good reviews for a high percentage of ethanol, so I'll see about getting by there when the Hoe needs some go-juice. Western Convenience used to be around this part of town but seems to have consolidated away from us.

I’ve tried E85 in the past. It sucks mightily. No worth the price difference to me.

Nothing you said makes any sense to.me. E85 is cheaper, so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. It's also weird that you are one of the only owners that have said this about E85. E85 does net less fuel mileage, but it does make more power, no matter what you say.

I smell a troll...

What sucks for you about it?

My 6.2l loves it, since it requires at least 91 octane anyway. Gets more power throughout the curve

I was underwhelmed with the lack of power. Alcohol has nowhere near the BTU per unit volume that gasoline does. At the time it was a 40 cents price difference, but I quoted Nancy Reagan and just said no.

It does take more fuel flow to make up for the lack of BTUs, but it is 105 octane and if the vehicle is tuned for it, it will make more power.

Many people will try it once, not notice any difference except the 2-3mpg loss, and not get it again. It takes about an entire tank for the vehicle to actually fully get used to it and run correctly on it.

Since this has come up recently, I thought I'd mention that I replaced the worm-drive hose clamps on my new catch can with OEM-style spring clamps. They help make it look factory, I think.

I have one of these, which makes them easy to install and remove.

It's been surprisingly difficult to find the right size clamps. After trying all my local sources, I ordered 3/4" from Amazon. I got tiny little 1/2" ones. Secind order I got the ones in the photo. But they're a little too big. I can slide the hoses off the barbs with them on. So I ordered 11/16" from the same seller on Amazon, and tried installing them today. These ended up being exactly the same size, just zinc plated. Next time I go to the pull-a-part, I'm going to grab a handful of them and see if I can find a slightly smaller size. In the meantime, these hoses are under vacuum, so I'm not worried about them coming off. And they don't seem to leak. So I'll roll with them for now.

Don't they sell those spring clamps at HF?

Anyone ever replace or is about to replace your fog/driving lights? Looking for a set of factory lights for a Tahoe/Suburban/Avalanche to experiment with. The lenses can be foggy or mildly cracked since I'll be cutting on them. But, I need the back side to be good with no broken mounting tabs, etc. For your trash, I'm willing to offer bottom dollar PLUS actual shipping charges (This offer has a "plus"!), trading of virtual friendship (not to exceed acknowledging your existence on this forum), sophomoric humor at your or another member's expense or two days of exchanging of sexts via PMs (pics from me not included, but pics from you will be allowed as necessary).

I think I still have my originals from when I replaced mine with LED projector style lights.

I will have to dig around in my shed to see if I can find them.

Not sure what you are trying to do but you do know that they make LED fogs with the proper mounting tabs for our trucks marketed for the Camaro, right?

Well I finally have 2 days off with nice weather, so I plan on replacing the valve cover and maybe cleaning it up a bit inside. Dropping it off for inspection on Wednesday morning.

No, I did not know that. I have some like-new black projector LEDs from a 2018ish Mustang that I'd like to see if I could make mount like OEM without much hassle or expense. I'll search for them Camaro lights. Or, do you have a link handy?
