I don't even know what this is, but i don't think my transmission or rear end could handle it.

I had my air compressor set to 90 psi and was good to go. Once you pull all of your rockers give the retainers a nice bump with a non-metallic deadblow
i have that one except mine didn’t come with the storage case.
It even has a $100 rebate on that $4000 engine block. But if you’re dreaming, how about the Chevrolet performance LT4 connect and cruise, with the Corvette Z06 engine and the 8l90 trans along with everything you need to get it running. Supercharged 650 HP that can be modded for some serious power.https://www.chevrolet.com/performance-parts/connect-cruise-powertrain-systemsI don't even know what this is, but i don't think my transmission or rear end could handle it.

I guess a lot of trucks and park next to me because mine seem too low

Wow. I don’t have door protectors on my 02 and zero door dings over it’s 19 year life. Maybe people see that protector and bang into it on purpose. Or maybe people where you live are just assholes! Sheesh that’s terrible.Just to close the loop, I finally got a shot of my door protector.
Attached is a picture of my door protector strip. The picture only captures a few, I counted 30 total on the drivers side. These were gotten in the last 26 months (time since they were last refinished by my body shop).
I did notice 2 that were above the major bulge of the protector, likely from taller trucks, but zero above or below the strip. We have a lot of lifted trucks and SUV's in our neck of the woods.
All 30 likely would have been some amount of denting on the metal of the doors without the strip.
Looking at your picture, it does appear like your strip on the Denali are lower (could be an optical illusion) and also, it looks like the profile of the strip on the Denali might be a little flatter, which may allow intruding doors to get to the metal above the strip.
I didn't like the strips when I first bought the truck (thought it detracted from the aesthetics). but now I love them. Just one more reason to keep the old gal forever.

I really like my Lexani LXThirtys. They don’t break the bank either.Need some help on getting new tires for the 24's. I had some knock off nankang brand from ebay(actually wasn't a bad tire imo) but looking for a new set. Besides nitto 420s, what's a good recommendation.
A friend from work can get these general grabbers for fairly cheap imo. Anyone have any experience with them?View attachment 273761

Anyone have a writeup of removing the rear bumper pad? My new chrome strip arrived.

I tend to park a little further out and pay attention to what I park next to. I look for the people who look like they abuse their vehicles and won’t park next to them. I don’t mind walking an extra minute in fact I see the people still circling looking for a close spot as I walk past them, I’m in the store before they even park.I think the biggest contributor is perhaps me being totally insensitive to caring where I park. When I go into a Walmart or Costco parking lot (typically jammed during the hours I tend to be there), I don't spend any time looking for a good place. I just squeeze in as close as I can, probably because I feel kind of invulnerable as anything else. I honestly think when someone does bang a door, it is probably due to it getting away from them, perhaps with hands full and trying to negotiate entry or exit, as anything else.
They are cheap to refinish and unlike the one paintless dent repair job I had done on the rear panel near the fuel filler, involve no fussy metal work. Just a mask, sand and shoot.

Ditto, usually if i see a total turd i won't part next to it.
When i first got the hoe, i parked next to a turd in the sportsmans warehouse parking lot.
When i came back i found my hoe keyed.
I gave then plenty of room, and even folded in my mirrors for them
guess they just don't like suv's or people with nicer things then they have.
and i would have parked somewhere else, but it was the only spot left...
