As a kid I used to visit one of my older relatives who owned a farm outside San Antonio. At the end of the day, we would be heading back to the house in his old pickup. He always had country music on the radio (guys like Jimmie Rodgers) and a beer between his legs. He always threw his empties back into the bed. He always told me that was what pickup's were for...

Once in a while, I got a sip. :)
I remember learning with my first pickup that if you were driving down the highway and tossed the empty beer can out the window it ended up in the bed. Every time. And I tried it a LOT.

Thinking on replacing battery cables. I think I have some nice welder cable up in the attic. What you all using for battery end terminals. I don’t like the stupid two bolt clamp ones. The negative terminal on mine is a right angle one too.

I built my own cables out of 2/0 Marine grade tinned copper shielded cable and soldered copper lugs on the ends with marine grade (it has a heat activated glue inside) heat shrink. I did what is referred to as "the big 3" upgrade.

I used these terminals and soldered them on...

I guess it depends on your battery though. Mine has side and top posts.

The 2/0 is definitely overkill but I found a good deal on it.
