Filled up with gas... and now my gas gauge is flopping around between full and empty. Woooo. Anybody want to place bets on if its the sending unit or the cluster?
I remember learning with my first pickup that if you were driving down the highway and tossed the empty beer can out the window it ended up in the bed. Every time. And I tried it a LOT.As a kid I used to visit one of my older relatives who owned a farm outside San Antonio. At the end of the day, we would be heading back to the house in his old pickup. He always had country music on the radio (guys like Jimmie Rodgers) and a beer between his legs. He always threw his empties back into the bed. He always told me that was what pickup's were for...
Once in a while, I got a sip.![]()
If you had a sliding rear window you could place a cooler in the bed and reach it...I remember learning with my first pickup that if you were driving down the highway and tossed the empty beer can out the window it ended up in the bed. Every time. And I tried it a LOT.

There’s about 60 pages of reading on the engine mounts over here https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/broken-motor-mounts.55790/page-69 and lots of talk about whether others are noticing much vibration.
If you like the vibration, I suppose. There’s nothing wrong with the H3 mounts they’re solid rubber but you won’t catch me putting those mounts on unless it’s a race truck. They’re pretty much a solid mount.I highly suggest the Atomic Force Protection Polyurethane (AFP) mounts - they are absolutely awesome!

When I first moved to Texas, open containers were legal. A year later, the law changed to legal for all except the driver.Regarding the beers...its amazing how much times have changed.
What's a PPV like to drive you ask?
On a rural road with minor washboard.
Off road near Big Bend.

Who you calling’ young, sport?Who is that handsome young man in the mirror?![]()

Thinking on replacing battery cables. I think I have some nice welder cable up in the attic. What you all using for battery end terminals. I don’t like the stupid two bolt clamp ones. The negative terminal on mine is a right angle one too.
Nice work.I built my own cables out of 2/0 Marine grade tinned copper shielded cable and soldered copper lugs on the ends with marine grade (it has a heat activated glue inside) heat shrink. I did what is referred to as "the big 3" upgrade.

I used these terminals and soldered them on...

I guess it depends on your battery though. Mine has side and top posts.
The 2/0 is definitely overkill but I found a good deal on it.
