These are rock solid I have ran them for over a year with zero issues.

Took the grille off and painted it satin black.
I still need to paint the area above the headlights black, and I need to figure out how to paint the chrome pieces IN the headlights black. If that's not too difficult..
But I think the process of blacking it all out is coming together nicely.

Finished blacking out the front grille including the "eyelids".
I also picked up my wheels from the powdercoating shop.
Went with a nice satin black on the factory 18" wheels.

The tires are dirty and still need to be upgraded to beefier BFG's. But that will come once I get the 5100's (that are backordered for a long time) installed and my ride leveled out.

looks great, you need to look into trimming the wings from the front air dam.View attachment 271694 View attachment 271695
Thank you!
And yeah that’s exactly what I’m going to do next. Probably this weekend when I have some time. I saw your post before and knew I’d start with that before trimming any further to mimic a PPV airdam. Thanks for the pics for reference

Lookin goooood Rich! How's the ride with the drop?

The ride is pretty close to OEM in my humble opinion so I'm happy now. I had the Maxtrac 2"/3" kit on it originally which is just a front/rear spring swap. It rode good but was a little too firm for my tastes which is why I took the hit and re-did everything with Belltech. My only complaint is that I didn't get as much drop out of the spindles as I had hoped so the truck sits level now. I actually like a little rake.

Suspension Maxx 2.5FR/1.5RR. Painted stock wheels gloss black. It needs a wash and I think I caught a bug mid flight as I took the picture. No catastrophes, but did smash a finger when the wrench slipped off a bolt. I'm too old to keep going and try to wrap the window trim today, too. It ain't like it was when I was 25.

Finally had the chance to do this.
Happy with how it turned out for a 10 min dremel job.
One day I'll have more guts and go for a PPV trimjob.

Also added the factory metal skidplates in place of the plastic aero piece.
These are OEM take-offs from ebay for only $50!

It's also dirty, so it'll get a good wash tonight.

while doing routine servicing, i decide to mod the stock airbox a little more. i had originally cut the bottom of the box, which resulted in a slight dead pedal feel at about 30mph with no throttle input, then try to lightly accelerate.
this go round, i have removed everything below the filter line that did not create any structure issues with the housing itself. This has also cured all lag in pedal feel. Since last i drove this truck, the wife has put about 1600 miles on it, and the computer has registered an average of 22.XX mpg. i don think i will see any more, but going from a 14mpg 2013, this is a nice gain. Airaid intake tube will be next for intake mods. i will also add, that this is a standard mod on all of my vehicles...never had any issues due to ill weather.

Did the best LED lighting mod to the Tahoe to date: traded it in for the 2021 Sequoia Nightshade. I have some spare parts and maintenance items that I’m willing to donate if someone is interested.
