2019 Tahoe rear washer fluid leaking inside vehicle

This morning I went out in the Tahoe, the rear window was filthy after the Texas snow and freeze fest this week. I tried to spray it but nothing came out.

Once I got home, I tried again and found it to be leaking behind the driver side front tire. I opened the hood and found that the hose and coupler were disconnected next to the spare battery mount.

I reconnected, tried again, still nothing. This time the leak was behind the rear tire. I looked underneath and sure enough, the coupler and hose were disconnected here as well.

I reconnected, tried again, still nothing. After trying a few times my wife saw the washer fluid dripping inside, behind the third row. The washer fluid flooded the rear header trim piece and now I’m unsure of the next step.

I’m sure there is another coupler somewhere but where? Inside the vehicle?

Also, how do I remove and clean out the rear header trim piece now?

just follow the line from underneath the truck it goes up and enters the top center of the rear hatch and goes down inside to the wiper arm

Welcome to the forum and do as @Doubeleive says, follow the water. Frozen items move around in their close proximity. You are not gonna get an easy answer. Gain access and fix it.

I would also recommend that you take pictures and take it to your dealer to have them fix any interior damage under warranty (assuming of course that you are still under warranty). It is strange that things would have come undone.

Out of warranty but you can’t see any damage on the headliner.

Also, no I haven’t had any body work done, but temps this week got as low as -22°F

Resolved!
Had to drop the rear header trim by popping the tabs in the middle and the passenger side. The last coupler was located above the headliner.

you might want to keep the tank full of whatever washer fluid that won't freeze, people like to fill them with water because it's cheap and easy but then when it freezes this happens.
I haven't researched what will and wont freeze myself I usually use the bugoff or some commercial brand of washer fluid it rarely freezes here.

Yeah I bought the car from a dealership in September, in not sure what they put in it but it’s definitely not just water based on the color my guess is it probably was bug off. Which will freeze since it doesn’t have alcohol mixed in.

I assumed all washer fluid had some level of freeze protection but that’s apparently not true.

All the frozen North guys will chime in on the addition of soap to the alcohol at -30-40. Either slushies , your problem or it freezes soon as it hits glass! Glad your's was easy.
