Curious if anyone has had to replace their front hub assembly and if so at what mileage? Only have 57k on a 2017 and had it go out. Previous 3 Denalis were all past 125k and no issues. Dealer said that was normal for mileage. ????

Main reason for asking is I was hit 10k miles ago on the same side and wondering if that may have been a contributing factor? There was no visible sign of impact on the front wheel at the time, but every body panel was damaged and rear axle housing bent from the impact. Trying to determine if this is normal at this mileage or to submit it to insurance (other driver’s ins.).

Thanks.

I would submit as "consequential damages" but good luck. It also depends on how it is driven and what offset on the wheels you have or if the tires and wheels are still stock.

75k does sound a bit early, but i have had hub last no longer than 20k...all depends on roads, Your Accident or various others items

57K seems a little early, but not out of the realm of possibility.

Hard to say if the impact contributed to the failure or not so would be interested in seeing what they say if you do file a claim addendum.

oem wheel bearings I would have to say typically 130-160k, I am at 130k now so I know I will be in the market for a set soon, lots of things happen at or before 160k across all makes and models, water pump, radiator, alternator, knock sensors, evap solenoid, etc. that's why you often see vehicles for sale with around 160k because they don't want to spend the money on the maintenance that pops up.

Or higher mileage after they cheaped out on repair parts and labor and then the same problems come back after 40k-50k more miles. Good call @Doubeleive

I have a 2017 Tahoe and I had to replace both front hubs at 59k. My 04 had 165K on it and I hadn’t replaced it when I sold it.
