The only time one needs an apostrophe in the word is to contract "it is." "Its" is naturally possessive, so the apostrophe is not needed. "Its apostrophe is not needed."

Save the apostrophes! Won't be long until we run out of them.... ;)
Or at least put them on the correct side as in ‘98 Tahoe as opposed to 98’ Tahoe. That one is fuked up all the time on this site and drives me nuts. Oh, you have a 98 foot Tahoe? Daaammmmnnn that’s long. Every time I see it I can’t help but read it as a foot. Maybe my construction background is to blame but come on man.

It was nice as hell yesterday when I took that. We've got very light slush here though, but hopefully that is it.

I made this for us NC folks.

I remember back in the mid 90's some friends of mine who had just moved from Iowa to Dallas/Ft Worth area called up and said that on the 6:00 news, they come across with a 25% chance of up to 1/4" of snow in the area. Then on the 10:00 news they announced that all the schools in the DFW metro area were cancelled due to the 25% chance of up to 1/4" of snow.

Coming from Iowa, that was completely laughable.

Dude, you'd piss yourself if you saw how quick they cancel stuff here.

Any other NC folks here can vouch though, it's not the snow we sorry about. Its the ice. Snow falls here and often melts and turns to slush. The best part is when we get a yankee who relocates down here, cusses at us for not being able to drive in this weather, then they flip they Prius over when they hit the ice.

I don't mind snow. I despise ice. I work for Emergency Services.....

@Sparksalot I bet those are real. Mine has 10k hours. If a vehicle runs just one shift a week that’s 2,000 hours per year.

Today I replaced the tie rod boots on the steering rack. They were dried out and cracked.

Spent some time measuring suspension travel and tire clearance. Planning on the least lift I can do to fit ~34” tires.

Exhaust doesn't need removal to swap mounts. But I'll be shoulder-deep in that area, especially the passenger side (see below). There are a dozen methods if you poke around on YT. My favorite methods I've seen:

Driver side: Steering shaft comes out and exhaust heat shield loosened. Mount can be snaked out and replaced.

Passenger side: Starter, oil dip stick tube, fender liner and exhaust heat shield come out completely.

Upgrading the manifold bolts now, at 120k miles, seems like a good idea, before more break. All it adds to the driver side work is pulling the fender liner for better access. And if I pull the passenger side manifold off, I may not have to remove the starter to swap the mount, so there's that.

Or maybe it's too late, some of the bolts are nearly broken in the head, and I'm about to bite off more than I can chew. It's probably that, lol. "Nine hundred bucks, you say?...hmm".

For the driver side, I unbolted the steering shaft and laid it to the side. I worked from the top and through the fender opening since I didn't wanna be under it and constantly get stuff in my eyes and mouth.

Passenger side, I didn't remove anything other than the mount.

I read it as "foot" every time. The Yeti had a 13' Accord. The only Accord that was close to 13' was the first gen hatchback at 13.5'.

I lived there for 6 months and it was winter. A slight dusting of snow and I showed up to work and no one was there or on the roads. Drove back home and took the day. Unreal!
