Hi all from Vancouver Canada,

What are the extra considerations when lifting a Yukon with magnetic ride suspension? Can I still do a suspension lift? Body lift? Level it?

Does a suspension lift mean I would have to go without the magnetic ride components?

I tried reading the previous mode’s forums but it seems there are so many versions and third party mods that it’s hard to come up with something conclusive.

Thanks!

Looks like anything to do with lifting with MagnaRide is going to require specialized kits that delete the magnaride and ensure it doesn't start throwing error codes and mess up any electronics.

You’ve got several things listed there, what do you actually wish to accomplish?

Mainly interested in getting somewhat larger tires, say, +1-2 inches in diameter. Can it be done while still keeping magnetic ride?

I used a kit from SuspensionMaxx on my 2015 suburban with MRC and it was pretty simple to do. It's simply a spacer of billet aluminum so the ride characteristics aren't affected. (Well at least until you get off of those super quiet/smooth street tires!)

I'll try to help where I can. I have a '16 Sierra Denali sitting on a 6" Fabtech body lift still using the Magneride suspension w/ 35" Ridge Grapplers. I can change the shock/springs to a coilover setup with resistors to cancel the magneride connections when I'm ready.

it seems that as the 07-14, you will use a strut spacer, rear spring spacer to lift...the strut doesnt grow any so no change, the rear WILL NEED a shock extender.

the magna ride isnt an air leveling system, simply electronic control of internal fluids
