The only drop in radiator I can find for my Denali is a Mishimoto GMT-99 .
It looks like a really nice piece and has provisions for my trans oil cooling and
engine oil cooling too.
The Only prob I have with it is it's price $530 plus tax .. Yikes !!

Anyone find a good replacement radiator that's better than stock???

I'm adding some power and I tow, so I want OEM cooling PLUS

Thanks

I was in the same predicament as you and I am unaware of any other than what you mentioned.

The A/C delco unit alone was over $400 with the cooling provisions, so the Mishimoto was a no brainer at that point for my cracked radiator replacement.

You definitely will get what you pay for. It does a good job keeping the trans nice and cool, you'll make the money back just by getting more mileage out of your trans.

This is one that I was looking at... I have k ow personal experience with it though so take it for what its worth.

Radiator 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe Lt - 5.3 Liter V8 325Cid Radiator All Aluminum 3 Row Desert Cooler With 2 Coolers, 3 | Radiator Express

This is another one they carry...
Radiator 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe Lt - 5.3 Liter V8 325Cid Radiator Wide Tube, 34 Inch Core, 2 Coolers | Radiator Express
https://www.radiatorexpress.com/pro...oe/lt/53l-v8/224117/c501366#vehiclefitmenttab

It has wider tubes and they claim it cools better than a 3 row radiator.

So I looked at the cold case radiators mentioned and did some online research.
Thank you for the suggestion. They run about $400 and have very mixed reviews as
far as fitment and quality..
So for the money, I'd prob save some headaches and sped the $530 ish for the
mishimoto Radiator... That's what I'm kind of thinking.. Unless I just punt and
put in a oem repl rad..
I've created a new post on my Cooling Fan Situation.. Apparently mine are not right

The factory replacement is already over $400 with the cooling provisions. Buy once, cry once :)

The other factory replacement on amazon did not have cooling provisions when I bought it thinking it was the right one.

I have the Mishimoto radiator and really like it! Fit and finish was spot on and my temps stay in the 170s at all times with a 160* Thermostat.
With the factory radiator and thermostat it usually stayed around 200-210*

I think I'll bite the bullet and get the Mishimoto GMT-99
I don't really trust the aftermarket $200 ish replacements.. And
for the extra $130 over an OEM Delco, I may as well have what
I really want.
Thanks for the help & advice !!

Anybody have any leaking issues with this mishimoto radiator? My friend got one for his 09 Yukon and it started leaking trans fluid internally and it mixed with the coolant. Then mishimoto wouldn't give him a refund, only offered to send him a replacement. Seems very strange. I think he's getting the replacement btw, so if anybody is interested and wants to take a chance send me a pm

Lucky he didn't blow the trans.
