First step tried replacing the window switch, no go, just replaced the whole regulator and motor today, but still no go. I took the voltage meter, and I am getting 12v at the switch, I have not checked whether I am getting voltage at the motor though (need a buddy for that one).

Any ideas? The three other windows work fine, and I have GDS2, and can control the other 3 windows, but same thing, I cannot control that particular window, also, the truck never registers that door as being open when it is.

nope, no code about the door or window, and the drivers switch does not work that window, but works the other three, including express down

Ok, I just meter'ed the motor connector, and I am getting a stable 10v on both pins in the motor connector. I went back through the switch, and with the meter on each conductor, no voltages changed when pulling or pushing on the switch. The other thing I noticed is that the switch is not lighting up, even though it is getting 12v. I did try both the old switch, and the new switch.

I wonder if the "new" switch is bad as well?

Ok, it is a short / loose wire in the harness between the door and the body.. Now to try to dig into that...

Yes, when I fiddled with it and got the window up the light went off, but as soon as I closed the door it broke again. Going to take the boot off and see what I can find today.
