Can't pass emissions with incomplete monitors and monitors are completed by drive cycles, so...hit the road.
...And parking lots. And gear changes. And key on engine on/key off engine off events...
I know, I know. I’ve seen somewhere online that the oem drive cycle only takes about 15 minutes versus the hour or so it’ll take to go 100 mi.Can't pass emissions with incomplete monitors and monitors are completed by drive cycles, so...hit the road.

I could never do their drive cycle unless I wanted to sleep in my truck in the country so I could wake up and get to the 55 mph, then all the other stupid instructions like slow down to 20 or whatever, all within the specified amount of time after a cold start.Does anyone know if the GM drive cycle actually works? Don’t really wanna drive 100 miles just to pass emissions.
Well I’m definitely not getting that done in Atlanta [emoji23]. Guess it’s the old fashioned way then.I could never do their drive cycle unless I wanted to sleep in my truck in the country so I could wake up and get to the 55 mph, then all the other stupid instructions like slow down to 20 or whatever, all within the specified amount of time after a cold start.
I got everything except Evap monitor to be ready so I circumvented the registration process.
I was able to register mine at my brothers house in a rural county with no emissions testing. The best thing is, besides no testing or associated fees, the paperwork still gets delivered to my address so he doesn’t need to mess with it or forward it to me.Well I’m definitely not getting that done in Atlanta [emoji23]. Rear main?Replaced oil pan gasket, upper and lower ball joints, front shocks, torsion keys, rear springs and I attempted to replace my rear shocks but the rough country kit I got didn't work! The aluminum insert didn't fit into the bushings.
Also I still see oil leaking, but it's coming from somewhere where the oil pan touches the transmission. Any ideas? It's no visible so I'm gonna assume it's not the oil pan gasket.

Honestly looked at it with blue and red needles, the orange were easiest to see lol. A few extra (blue) LEDs for hotspots and now I have blue turn signals lol. But finally a trans temp gauge yay!
I can’t find anything online about a custom cluster for a 2001 Yukon Denali. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Finally got my cluster back and all the other led upgraded pieces installed. All switches/buttons , hvac controls , homelink , rear view mirror in an all white led theme with blue and red led sprinkled here and there. I found it on YouTube,Anyone looking for 26s? Or a turbo kit?
Sketchy junkyard/chop shop down the road from my house just got this in. Had a fuel leak that caught fire. Stock 5.3 with a 4l80 and some sort of VS racing turbo kit. View attachment 253858 View attachment 253859 View attachment 253860
