Hi everyone I'm new here. Finally making my first post. I own an 07 Tahoe LT 2wd. I've had this for about 4 years. When I bought it it had just over 100k miles and now I'm pushing 150k. It's been a great family suv. I love it. It's my wife's DD for hauling the kids around but I can't help myself from modding it. It's perfect cuz the aftermarket is huge for these. I've got lots of plans for it so I'll be on here a bunch. I've done a handful of mods and some minor/major repairs.

Mods:
eBay cold air intake.
Taylor cable helix throttle body spacer.
22" GMC replicas
Belltech 2/3 drop kit, spindles/springs
Djm rear accessories kit.
Spohn boxed rear LCA.
Eibach front & rear anti-sway bars.

I love how this beast handles now! I want to go lower now. I will once we get a different family vehicle, 2014 ford raptor, fingers crossed. Then the Tahoe will be my DD.

Repairs:
Most major repair was the brake booster/master cylinder replacement.

Drivers side motor mount.

Negative battery cable.

Front brake job.

Heater hose replacement after it burst along with t-stat.

Sealed up the slip yoke freeze plug cuz it was leaking atf.

Replaced all door speakers cuz they were going bad. Added that foam speaker cone too. I read it protects the speaker and wires from moisture leaking in from window weatherstrip.

That's pretty much it of the top of my head. I've got an oil leak from somewhere so that's on my to do list now. But other than that it's been a great SUV. Hit me up if y'all have any questions.

Welcome to the forum from Iowa. Glad to have you. Look forward to you sharing about your efforts as you go along. Don't be afraid to share from your experiences either when others have questions.

Might try and post some of the specs for your Tahoe in your signature like year, motor, etc. This makes it easier when folks try and help or answer questions.

We recommend that you put all your rig(s) info in your signature so we all don’t have to guess at year, make, model, engine size, trans, rear axle locker…….etc. While you may have posted pertinent info in your first post, you may forget to do it again and the info is needed by us anyway. Makes it way easier on all members that attempt to help, to have that info right up front. It is also recommended that you take a pic of your RPO codes, on the inside cover of the glove box, and post that image in your signature. All this info will greatly help those that will try to help with a problem.

If there is any other info, like upgrades, mods or recent mechanical/maintenance work done, that would be helpful in any post as well. Too many times a question is asked by the poster and after about 10 responses we find out that the poster has done recent work to attempt to fix the problem or work that was done that SEEMS not related to the problem.

Welcome from Miami Beach Joey!

Your Tahoe looks to be in excellent condition and extremely well maintained.

Hear you on the Ford Raptor. That is the ONLY Ford in the entire line up that I think is really nice.
