I have a 2013 white SSV with the standard black textured exterior door handles. I'd prefer to have white handles but I don't want to go through the hassle of removing four door panels and installing four new painted handles. Any recommendations for priming and painting the handles white? Can this be done? Any products out there that could work? I'm not really looking for perfection.

I am having the same seat belt compatibility issue, may I know how you or others addressed it?

You’ll need to source matching seatbelts from that generation of Tahoe and swap them over. It’s a relatively easy job, just some big Torx bolts and pulling a trim panel.

thanks @Rich_SSV , I am going with this approach i.e. swapping the buckle end in the seat. in this 2015 seat, I notice middle seat belt also anchored in same bolt as the buckle end of read driver side.

I tried unbolting last weekend using small wrench, it was too hard it didnt move a bit. I even used Ryobi driver the bolt didnt unbolt. I noticed the driver moving/slipping.

thinking to get a breaker bar. and retry... any tips unbolting helps.

also are there any explosive in for middle seat belt anchor?

Have you tried using a torque wrench? I installed a center bench seat over the weekend and had no problems unbolting the driver and passenger seat bolts as well as the bolts for the seat belts.

Some stuff I ran into on a 2009 SSV
Rear window switches had no toggle inside switch, bought new on eBay. Door lock rods were cut off so buttons could not be added
Replaced on eBay and bought the lock knobs also. Ran into rear doors not locking or unlocking all the time. Replaced rear lock actuators from eBay for 25 each. Cables were disconnected at door card hooked them up. Put brand new carpet and used leather seats in. Added console at same time. Replaced the steel wheels with some off a pickup. Had car painted at maaco because it was black and white.

ouch, theres two pretty clean tahoes in sacramento right now, 2010s both around 18k i was tempted at looking at them but the lack of creature comforts goes beyond what was expected....unless they came with gunsafes still installed like some of the ford expeditions i see at the sacramento auction..

i was wondering if the PPV had better suspension for some of these backroads in norcal, have to get off road sometimes dont need a rockcrawler but basic 4x4 gets the job done
