Where are you in Mexico? I just got back from Baja. I may be able to recommend some help if close by. Never heard of a dealer turning down work. You mentioned fixing the rad leak. Where was it? Oil leak? Trans fluid? Follow directions above. If you had all of that fluid everywhere an electrical problem sounds likely.

Thanks a lot for the replies so far. Ill be looking at all the electrical connections now. The missing information form my post is that it's a 2011 GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid, 6.0 motor, with 160,000 miles.

The transmission leak was in an o-ring, which we fixed. There may be an oil leak, but we haven't been able to drive it enough to know after we cleaned up everything form the transmission radiator leak. After we put in a new o-ring we refilled the transmission with Dexron 6 transmission fluid, and it's full and clean. THe engine oil is also full and reasonably clean after about 3,000 miles since last change.

The battery is fully charged, but does nothing when we try to start it. Thanks again for your help!

how old is the battery just because the battery is fully charged does not mean it has "capacity"...

You have Canbus codes your not getting the correct voltage to them... that says less then 9 volts or higher then 18 volts( we know it's not more then 18volts...

check your ground strap from the engine to the chassis and also check the one behind the accessory power module (or inveter)

P06AF is a ECM failure or not enough voltage less then 9volts

the ECM is disconnected (slightly) or broken/damaged wire..

also check the crimp on the negative cable (the little thin ground wire i think that goes directly to the ECM)

How old is your battery? Not your Hybrid one, the main one under the hood? How do the cables and connections look? The only thing all these codes have in common is that there is/was some kind of electrical problem. I reckon that a new battery will get you back on the road.

You also mentioned being in Mexico and having recently sprung a leak, check the grill for a bullet hole or two! if a round went in there and bounced around, it could have wreaked havoc on your electrical system.
He lives in Mexico that's why the dealer is hours away.

he should be able to take it to any GM dealer in mexico as they sold volts in mexico (both are nearly identical the volt has a better 2mode system though )

no that is incorrect there is two of them listed in the city he is in
see here

they sell volts and bolts so they got the know how on hand and should be able to service the tahoe(he might have to get the parts him self though)

Thanks for the information on the dealer in Oaxaca. Unfortunately we had the car there for two weeks, since it was right outside of Oaxaca that the car quit working. The service manager there told us that he had never seen a hybrid and that they couldn't fix it. I think that it's true that he had never seen a hybrid, but I don't think that he tried hard to figure it out, that he didn't want to mess with it. Sad but true.
