I put the Esky roof rack on the Yukon and not sure how I feel about it. Thought I'd like it more but at the moment it seems a little to much 'look at me' with the chrome. But at the same time I do like the clean lines

I color matched mine. It can be done with enough sanding, etching primer, paint and clear. I had a friend who owns a body shop do it.

I think it ties in nicely with all the other chrome bits.

If you had color-keyed door molding, mirror caps and grille, then I'd say color match it like @Rocket Man did. Regardless, that style of rack looks waaay better than the standard one.

Wow
:jawdrop:
It's been weirdly warm around here in MA. I usually am ice fishing now but yesterday fished the open water for the first time ever in January. Do you have issues with the doors or starting at those temps?
Ya I do door locks don't want to full unlock and door handles don't fully seat on the outside causing the door not to shut or want to shut.

That is one sweet looking truck and I definitely do prefer the look of the color match.

Appreciate it, I suppose I'll keep it for now as it is an improvement. I may do exactly as you say with color matching at some point (only because I know a guy that does great work and I'm sure it'll look clean) but for now I'll see if it grows on me a bit.

I added a few things yesterday. Mounted my GPS into the dash board. Sleek, smooth, and looks great!
I had a double din radio install, and with that the rear radio controls were not usable. So, I added a small Chevy logo, engraved a bow tie logo into it, tapped small holes, added an RGB light strip into a box secured to the back. And Wala!

Pretty much confirmed that I have a blown or leaking head gasket. But the ole Burb still needs SOOO much other work, that the wife is trying to talk me into getting another vehicle. But that's not really an option as long as we are still paying on her damn Jeep. The entire suspension needs to be redone, including all bushings and balljoints, could use some interior work, and I still need some body and paint work done. My mind is bouncing all over the place......
