Well this was unexpected. Tail lights weren't supposed to be delivered until Thursday, but they came in today. 60 degrees and sunny today in MA, what better day to install than today (in January)?

Esky roof rails next - my buddy at the junk yard says the ones on the black Escalade (where I got my vent caps) are in great shape.

Drove it

Kinda forgot how well this rig did in the snow. There's something to be said about the confidence having a big heavy ass SUV with good tires and a pretty effective 4wd system gives. Driving past folks who are getting stuck going up hills and whatnot without so much as a hint of wheelspin. Does well enough that I need to be careful not to let that confidence turn to arrogance.

8" or so on side roads. Packed a little bit on the main roads.

Installed a battery blanket , minus 27 here minus 40 with windchill.

Wow
:jawdrop:
It's been weirdly warm around here in MA. I usually am ice fishing now but yesterday fished the open water for the first time ever in January. Do you have issues with the doors or starting at those temps?

Currently yea. Over in the Bridgwater area now. Hoping to move to the Seekonk area in the next few months

Funny, I went to school at Bridgewater State.

Seekonk is not far from me. Nice because you'd be close to a lot of good RI spots too, especially if you like beaches/fishing. Narragansett, Newport, Providence

I think I may have an LED problem and not sure if it'll go away. Ordered more for license plate lights, perimeter lights, and back two interior lights. Day light even at night ftw!

Looking good! I’ve done all the exterior in LEDs, and just about all the dash / cluster in LEDs, but still not sure about the interior lighting. I think they’re a little too bright inside. Maybe I need old man warm white LEDs for the interior..[emoji23]

i know a guy from another forum who lived in AK, he had the battery warmer, block heater, oil pan heater, and one on the trans pan too. so cold oil would turn to mud on him.
