If i drive my wifes 2016 Yukon Denali for longer than 30 minutes I get intense lower back pain. Tried every adjustment possible and nothing seems to help.

Now I have never had any issue with any other vehicle. Only this Yukon.

My 2014 sierra denali and 2019 SLT never have an issue. Also recently rented a 2019 yukon SLT and no issues. Seats look very similar but always have issues with the 2016.

Anyone else??? Have there been changes

A couple questions... Do you have the same pain issues if you sit in the passenger seat? Also, have you experimented with different seat height adjustments, particularly a higher setting?

Just on the driver seat. Seems the seat is maybe narrower then my trucks. Thought maybe it could be all the vibration stuff they stuff in them now which both trucks dont have.

I’ve found that some of the extra bolstering they have in seats now put pressure on my hips and legs and gets uncomfortable on long trips. I’m sure if I lost about 60-80 pounds, that would help, but.......

The seats in the newer Yukon’s are not as nice as the 2002 - 2006’s. It’s first class seating vs business class seating in my opinion.

When I was recently looking at a NEWER Tahoe one of the first things noticed was the discomfort/back pinching design of the driver's seat, no matter what setting I adjusted to. My 2002 Tahoe seat is way more comfortable. I am also 6'4" tall and weigh in at 320 lbs. I have felt your pain during those road tests that drove me right back to my NBS Tahoe.

I don’t get back pain from it but it’s nowhere near as comfortable as my 2010 seats.
