I have an AEM dryflow filter already so I’ll probably toss this one on eBay. Hopefully the wife doesn’t hate it lol

AEM Dryflow here as well. Supposedly, it's the same as any other non-oiled filter from them or K&N.

Does the wife have to know? Or is she one of those that can analyze the volume and tonal frequency of the intake's sound and detect the difference? If she doesn't like the growl, all she has to do is keep her foot out of the throttle. ...Hmmm. I wonder if this is how they say these things can result in better fuel economy... lol

She’ll probably notice. I do shit to her car all the time and she usually ends up noticing. Plus she actually checks her oil every fill up so I’d think she’d spot it. She was complaining about her exhaust being too quiet so I think she’ll be ok with this mod.

You got a good 'un!

This is a good sign as well! I had my MIT with stock exhaust (other than the negligible resonator delete) and it sounded like I had a free-flow muffler. I'd say this will go over well. It'd be cool if you could install the MIT in secrecy then have a hidden camera in the cabin recording her reaction on her first drive with the MIT.

I'm still waiting on @R3cord303 to shave he chambers off his stock intake and report back.

Hell, I have my stock one. Maybe I'll shave it next time I have nothing better to do.
