Tire size question

a set of bf Goodrich lt 325 60 r 20 has cracked and Canadian prices are about 500 to 600 per tire.....do I have to use this size or will another fit I know the radius has to be 20 but I found a set of cheaper tires the dimensions say 35 x 12.5 r20 e man I hope they will fit as they are 224 bucks Haida mud champs hd868. these tire sizes and things seem confussuin any help is really appreciated

Well, how wide and how tall of a tire do you want? Don't see too many of the former on here but lots of 35s. @bigfootchiro

So, the easiest thing to do when looking to see if another tire will fit is using an online tire size calculator. Plug in your current one to see what the height and width of the tire is, then plug in ones you think may or may not work. Some sites give you a list of sizes and tell you how much bigger or smaller they are.

In your case, if that’s the tire you are running, then the 35x12.5 in a 20” rim will fit. It looks like they will be almost a half inch shorter and a quarter inch narrower. Not enough to notice a difference
