Hey guys.. so i've seen it in some of your tahoe's you put a reverse back up screen or gps in the spot where the onstar unit goes.. Would a 3.5" GPS screen fit in this slot? Any examples or pics of yours?? Thanks

yes, you can look at my gpd install how to for some screen shots too. the only reason i didnt do that was b/c my gps wont turn itself off automatically once power is killed...it still runs on the internal battery.

Okay.. So do I change the part of the chord that plugs into the back of the gps at all? From what I saw and read on your thread you said... Ground the negative wire w/ a horseshoe to the bolt above ebrake...Put the positive wire into the 15A fuse.. then just hide the chord up to the onstar/traction control section and plug that end into the gps. Is that right?

OOhhh I think I get it.. you spliced the positive and negative on the female adapter then plugged in the OEM GPS power chord into the female cig adaptor? that makes sense to me now if im right
