Anyone running the front and rear kit? I am assuming you are running a 20 or 22 inch wheel...

I was noticing the front 16 inch kit with caliper has an OD of about 16.85 inches including the needed air gap. Im wondering if that will squeeze under an 18 inch silverado wheel?
I run 18's all winter and 20's in the summer.

I need to run a copy of their fitment sheet on a piece of cardboard and see, but I was hoping maybe someone here has tried or would know...

I’m running their front and rear kit on 22’s on my 02 and they’re pretty close, I doubt they fit on 18’s. Don’t they state 20” minimum wheel size?

Of note, the wheel "diameter" is the bead size of the tire and not necessarily indicative of the inner dimensions of the wheel, which will be narrower due to a bead-drop that allows for tire mounting / dismounting. I have stock 17s on NNBS brakes, which IIRC are 13". There's exactly a cunthair of clearance after wheel weights. MAYBE enough to fit a popsicle stick through there but that would genuinely be pushing it.

There's no way a 16" rotor would fit through 18s.

No I get the inner diameter of the barrel. But you never know.

Im working with a company to build a brake kit for a zr2 prerunner on 17 inch methods. Believe it or not but a 14 inch rotor with a very large caliper with a non removable bridge fits with room to spare.

My land speed car has a stoptech brake kit that calls for a larger diameter wheel than whats on it. They said its for spoke clearance issues where it contacts the barrel and not barrel inner diameter

Often the minimum rim size is to help eliminate fitment problems from thick cast and weird spoke wheels.

I see the wilwood 16 inch kit uses a very skinny (read not thick OD) caliper. And Im really lazy and havent gone to take my wheel off to bend a piece of tig rod to measure lol... Or to run to the nearest kinkos to print their brake fitment on 14 inch paper that I can then transfer to cardboard and then try to fit....

i have a diff kit... StopTech BBK. it has 15" rotors & 19" rims are minimum per instructions.
i tried an 18" to test & it touched caliper before rim was even on all the way.

The offset as well as the clearance of the spokes matter too. The 26” Dubs I had on were closer to touching the caliper than the 22” reps I have on now. So even if someone did successfully run some 19” wheels it doesn’t mean your 19” wheels will fit unless it’s the exact same wheel. It sure is an expensive chance to take regardless, without knowing for sure.
