What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Agreed. Should be calibrated for whatever weight is normally in the vehicle.

Related: does your guys’ air suspension compressor kick on every time you start the vehicle? I literally never hear mine. And I’ve got realitivly new rear air shocks.

Mine does yes, found conflicting information on the matter in gm's documents, one document says it should everytime and another say's it is normal for it to not turn on everytime

*that is part of the reason why I ever even messed with mine, the compressor wasn't coming on everytime and the shocks had a slow leak, so I just replaced both

I would say if your pump does not turn on everytime then there might be something wrong, if you have a tech2 and run the alc trimset you should hear the pump release the air, if it doesn't then the release valve may be bad and it's just holding air and therefore never needs to come on. just my guess... I think you can test the valve with the tech2 also in the same menu

Mine comes on every time I turn the ignition to on. It runs for 5 seconds or so, then stops. I can only hear it if I have my window open or if standing outside. It also exhausts for a second when I shut it off, again can only hear it outside and it's a quick hiss. My pump, rear shocks and front struts are all about 8k miles old.

I never did a recalibration after the replacements, and now I run without the 3rd row and spare tire. I wonder if a recalibration would do anything for it.

Same here. Never did an intentional recalibration any of the times I have replaced compressors either. And mine seem to run every start cycle also.

I did the recalibration with it in the garage (flat concrete) and stood along side it with the Tech2 cord out the drivers side window. I left the 3rd row in, as it usually is.

I’m running lowered 2/4 so my results might not be normal but when I did the ALC trim set it messed mine up and set it too low so for the first few days it felt like it was bottoming out but it gradually set itself right and now it’s back to where it should be. I should have just left it alone, it was fine but I just had to play with my Tech 2. My compressor comes on if it’s been sitting for a long time as in overnight but not if it’s only been a few hours. I’m also talking NBS.

Guess I’ll add a Tech-2 to my list of crap to buy. :/ I also have ditched a bunch of weight out of the vehicle. Full spare tire delete, 3rd row is up in the attic somewhere, threw away the hood insulation. Maybe that has something to do with the compressor not doing anything. Though when I was helping my Grandpa move we had prob 1200 pounds of his crap thrown in the back. The seats were all folded down and it was up to the roof and all the way back to the hatch. The rear end was squatting about 4” and I never heard the compressor then either. I figured it was because it was just so full of stuff it couldnt even autolevel but now I’m thinking maybe the compressor is just locked up.

They will auto level no matter how much weight. I had a trailer with a lot of tongue weight and 7 people in mine and was running 26” wheels lowered and it leveled. Not a single scrape.

Lol, i was at an amusement park with the kids last summer and while walking by an NNBS ltz burb with the hatch open and a bunch of people sitting inside the back and on the rear bumper there were a few people standing by the rear looking under and I could hear the compressor going but they were perplexed...i heard them saying “what the hell is it?.....I never heard that sound before”.....so i had to but in and explain to them what was going on with their truck.... half looked at me like who the **** is this guy and the other half were still in disbelief because they never heard of it or heard it period..... whatever...try to help out and thats what you get...

I feel ya. Back in my S10 days, I tried to help a few people with their headlights. People always put them back in incorrectly so they would be aimed up at the trees with a huge gap underneath them. Some would try to fix it by backing the adjuster screws out all the way. I'd offer to fix 'em in 60 seconds and they looked at me like I was trying to rob them, but politely.
