Welcome to the group. There a bunch of smart folks on here. Unfortunately, I have no experience with this type of problem.

my first guess would be a bad motor, you could confirm with a tech2, if you don't have access to a tech2 a shop is going to charge you anywhere from $80-110 to diagnose the problem, a new wiper motor is about $150. you may get lucky and get a shop/dealer to apply the diagnostic fee to the repair which would include extra labor for removing the rear plastic trim on the rear hatch to get access the motor, you could save some money and take the plastic cover off your self to access the motor,
if you want to test the motor yourself, this the procedure to test the motor for functionality, if the motor works during the test then the front multiswitch may be defective instead

The motor could be bad even though the wiper cycles once then stops on either intermittent or continuous? Also the wiper arm doesn’t stow itself until I turn the switch off.

if you test the motor yourself and find it defective this is the procedure to replace it
1. power rear wiper arm to middle of the window position, the remove the nut cap and nut, remove arm and clean the knurls
2. after that refer to the picture I have uploaded
3.
Rear Window Wiper Arm Assembly
Procedure
1. Electrically PARK the rear wiper motor.
2. Place the arm onto the pivot shaft while holding the wiper arm
tab firmly into the park ramp pocket.
3. Secure the nut.
4. Perform a wet wipe and inspect for return to parked position

Any chance it’s the relay since the wiper works once on both settings? Or is it the switch. It just seems odd it will work once on both settings and then stop.

I think electrically testing the rear motor if you do not have access to a tech2 is going to be the easiest way to find out for sure, the motor should operate continuously as long as there is voltage applied, it wouldn't just go once and stop unless it was loosing voltage somehow (or the motor or control module was bad) which you could test at the harness
