Tony how do you like that lq4. Is worth it for the swap. Did you keep it stock. Why not go lq9. I've been wanting to do this but here in dfw prices are stupid high for any 6.0
Love it! Cammed it, tuned it, 3000 stall. Got it mostly complete with harness and pcm for $850--which was a steal. Only had 105,000k. Came from an 05 Silverado HD. Lq9 is only like 10 horses more and demands premium fuel. I'm good with the Lq4. Easier to get, and cheaper too. You should check out my build page for exactly what I did, along with the specs.

If you want to boost it the LQ4 is better than the LQ9 due to the higher compression of the LQ9 which causes detonation when boosted.
