Problem is the speaker is not labeled with it's specs to even try and figure out. Here is a link to the specs. I don't see any information about impedance?

they don't give the ohm's because it is a integrated unit, it will be 4ohm's or less, possibly 2ohm's but it's not a high power woofer, you can check it with a meter to determine for sure.

2018 Tahoe - can you tell me where to locate the antenna wire for the satellite radio. Sirius sent me a WCS Filter that is supposed to help with my signal cutting out whenever I drove on a road that has tree over hanging the road or any over hang. I'm being inpatient and don't want to wait for the install service they also offer for free so i was going to do it myself.

sorry it took so long to get back to you i got slammed at work and comletely forgot about your question. its behind the radio screen youll find the module when you take the screen off it will be the mustard yellow plug connected to to the plastic box back there.

Well I tried just one channel @ 2 ohms then bridged for 4 ohms.

When I hooked it to the BOSS amp it sounded the same as when it was hooked to the original amp. Super loud, uncontrollable and distorted pounding of the sub. The replacement sub is fine. Not sure what to say here. I am no genius when it comes to this stuff as you can tell lol. I ask for help, then take what I can get from that and go hands on trial and error from there. Get's expensive...

not sure on that, you might want to google how to get 8ohm's out of 4, I was initially saying you could just ohm test the speaker post's, presuming you are going straight to the speaker and bypassing the integrated amp.

Nothing a DVM can't help you decipher! My point was that it was likely an impedance issue causing the protection circuit to trip.

That's what I was getting at. Wes has gotcha covered. Even a cheap (if not free) Cen-Tech meter from Harbor Freight is sufficient for this. Set it to impedance ("ohms") and touch each lead to the RF sub's terminals. Do it with the the sub unwired or you'll be reading the amp's circuitry. All you need to know is the sub's power handling and impedance of it's voice coil. They advertise it as a 300-watt sub, so it's probably 150 RMS. Once you determine the impedance, then you'll know if and how to wire it to a channel (or two) of that Boss amp, or any compatible amp, for that matter.
