I look at the third row middle belt as a stupid design. I do not understand why it could not have been integrated into the seat back like the middle row (assuming you have a bench rather than two bucket seats).
Buckets 2nd row but yes, stupid design for the seat belt back there.

Snapped back in but im sure now that its been pulled apart once it will come down every time. Gotta tell my wife to stop picking up my nephews so the seatbelt doesn’t get used.....lol

Reminds me of the seat belt design in the 92-99 burbs in the third row. Not sure why they'd revert back to that design in 2019. Seems pretty silly.

Ya know, if the seats not in there, she can't pick them up.
Just sayin'...

And, you do know that the seat belt end will tuck up there, into a small slot. It doesn't have to hang down.

Thats the problem, it was tucked into the slot and probably got pulled too hard...

Yes, that sucks. Could've been one of "those" little mistakes that got missed during qc. Who knows, perhaps everything is done by robot now and the radial welding arm that mounts those was down that day and it slipped by. You've got a good point, "kids pulling too hard", but only after say a few years of abuse. Considering your Soccer Mom analogy; yeah, that shouldn't have happened already.
Rant away, then take a few minutes and Gorilla Glue it back together, then prepare for the other side to do it as well.. :D
