PPV , SSV but who bought an armored one or Surburban used in secrect service there load with goodie

Everyone talk about PPV SSV but has anyone had access to buy special one with armored and 50 caliber roof latch secrect service uses them . I’m curuios who has bought one . I have seen a few armored Mercedes look like normal cars. Been curious if anyone had bought any secret service vechile . There armored and loaded with with lots of features do they ever go on sale to public.

I used a couple with clam shells in them. Used would be very hard to come by. I believe they become hand me downs to dignataries, and they might go to state department people or others that work with them.

ya that's what I was thinking I doubt they get handed off to the public very often, probably sent off to embassy personal or something of that nature

A recent retired fire chief had 2 Ford Ecoboost Exploers in his departure. They had the bullett proof door package. When the department is ready to take them out of service, they must either go to a PD, or be destroyed.

Armored Suburbans and Yukons can be found on ebay fairly regularly. However, I have not seen any with the cupola opening.

Wow, $91,000. I wonder how the armor plating is on the floors snd roof is. My buddy used to work on bank armored trucks and he said the floors were just regular steel--not armored. Which didn't make sense to me.

I’d love to get an armored suburban. 4 mpg, can’t get it serviced in some garages due to weight, but driving down the street of a bad neighborhood with gang members everywhere...with my middle finger extended...priceless!
