I agree, however the forum was a lot busier back then as well and customization was more prevelant. Being one of the originals when this site first started, i can tell As times changed, so did this caveat of the site. :(

Do you mean that alot of members started to lose interest in the TOTQ?

Keep it going, but as mentioned somehow make it more visible within the site, especially the day-to-day searches, thread readings and postings. Some way to keep it at the forefront of members eye, even if they don't specifically "watch" that thread. But not sure of the limitations of manipulating how it shows up or gets noticed.

Sort of like the ads on the right hands side. Or perhaps on the toolbar up at the top to the right of New Posts, there could be another hot key that is always there in bold or another color/blinking to alert and catch the eye that it needs to be looked at? Just spitballing...

So show the newest pic of the TOTQ winner on the side bar? Give Yeti the ability to change it when the new winner is picked?

Either on the sidebar to the right where pictures of other trucks are ever changing as they are in and out of the site throughout the day.

Or up at the top by the new posts button? And yes so Robbie can change it.

I use my Mac and iPhone both when on TYF throughout the day, so making it more visible within the confines of how members are accessing the site from either screen is key to exposure.

Thx @Shaggy

I mean majority of members from the beginning have moved on.. and with the introduction of the k2xx generation, the heavy modification of these vehicles has died down drastically, thus slowing traffic down.

Maybe I’m wrong, but just what i feel personally.

I don’t mind keeping TOTQ up and running, just trying to get feedback. It seemed like it started strong, but by the 4th quarter it was dying.. :(

I have always liked the idea of the winning pic being displayed somewhere for the duration of their reign.

I know I'm not the only one who is exclusively on the mobile platform, so no sidebar for me. As for the ongoing competition getting buried, maybe even just its own spot on the menu like the classifieds have.

4th quarter may always be slow because of the seasons; weather and holidays. I happen to participate on this site almost exclusively from my PC unless sick in bed.

As the trucks get older and depreciate or get paid off, that's when folks usually start pouring money into them. I wonder if you have the analytics for such a premise since this site has been around for some time?

I didn't realize there had been a cash prize. I still look back through the past winners, because there are a lot of fine a$$ trucks I would never have seen if it weren't for TOTM/TOTQ.

Plus I wanna build mine soon
