I have changed the charcoal canister and the other filter attached to it. It’s a little faster fueling now but still can’t just take just holding a fuel nozzle ide open. The old charcoal canister looked like the original and did have loose charcoal coming out when I got it out. That was a pita in itself. Anyone have any clues?? I hope it isn’t those pita lines. Do you have to drop the fuel tank to get to the other end of the lines to blow them out or replace them? Any help with an amazon link for new lines is greatly appreciated. Done a quick search and couldn’t find them.

You need to blow your gas lines, you probably have charcoal pellets all in them. That is a must if the seal of the oem canister is broken an pellets come out.

How hard are they to get off of the tank? Could I replace them with hose and hose clamps?

All the lines on the tank and canister have quick connectors. You will need to drop the tank and blow out all the lines, you should not need new lines.

okay it has been a couple of weeks since I last posted in regards to this issue. 2 weeks ago I went to the famous wally world and bought a small air compressor, dropped the fuel tank, unhooked all the fuel lines and blew air through them with minimal results. the results of the cheap compressor were so lacking i returned the compressor as it would not build enough pressure to do hardly anything. damn i miss living on a farm with a real air compressor!! I took my truck to the mechanic told him what i had tried and replaced. He also blew through the lines. last night after i picked the truck up from him I tried to put fuel in it again and it vent a lot better but it still burped gas back out at me. Am i missing something ?? im at a loss now. help please.....

Get a tune and turn off all that stuff in the computer and then throw all that junk in the garbage and cap it off. I fill slowly always and sometimes get a clicker pump and either go to a different pump or leave for another station. Its not always your truck.

think I'll pass on that option at this point, trying to keep it kid friendly as my kids ride in it quite often.
