so with the new baby and work i finally got time to finish my exhaust. so im using pacesetter shortie headers to a bosal y pipe to a jonas 2 to 1 into a 3in to 3 in thrush muffler out the back. the bosal y pipe actually has slightly larger pipes than the y pipe that was in the truck. i swapped the y pipe as it appeared as tho someone had cut the cats off and then welded them back on. seemed fishy to me and boy was i right. someone tried to punch the cats out and failed miserably and just stuck it back on. i also made the mistake of using the gaskets pacesetter supplied.... dumb on my part. so now everything is sealed up and flowing nicely and boy does she sound angry as hell when i get on it. still nice at highway with no drone but a very aggressive growl when you even give it a little extra.

so not at all sticks out a bit where the frame turns up but it doesn't hang down at all.

Cool thanks for the pic. Unfortunately i will be dehumping the frame so even that hangs to low. If it was up above or even with the front smaller section id be all in.

Did you install new cat’s? I had a new Magnaflow cat installed on my previous Yukon but am not sure if there are more cost-effective ones out there.

rockauto has the new catted y pipes at nice prices. i purchased the bosal brand for mine. i liked the look of it and the pipes are actually slightly larger than the stock y pipe. 0 issues with mine so far im pleased with the purchase.
