Ordering front end of Kia, what are parts called?

Long story, my friends are broke and some lady smoked the front of their little car. I looked at it and got it running. However, the front inner bumper frame was wrecked. Anybody know where you can buy these or what it's called specifically.

1. There's the bumper cover, then there's the actual bumper. The actual bumper was bent.
2. There's then the mounts they run across the body, the head lamps and radiator set in there. That was wrecked.

For now I hooked up my truck and pulled them out with a toe rope. With a lot of fidgeting maybe can get them to hold the parts again. However, these kia parts are damn cheap. I think they'd be better off to buy new (or savaged ones). I just don't know what they are called to order them.

Try "bumper support" and "radiator support" in your searches.

Instead of the tow rope method, you could position your truck in the direction you wanna pull something and use a come-along hooked to your hitch to pull the bent parts back into position. You'd have a lot more control and can pull a little at a time, reposition your truck and/or the come-along, pull, repeat. Use a rope or the tow rope if the come-along's cable isn't long enough. Harbor Freight has come-alongs ("Cable Winch Puller") for $20.

Yeah I'd thought of that, but don't have a come along. Might be a good time to buy one.

I called my buddies at the salvage yard. They told me is called a "core support". Amazingly parts for kia's are like SUPER inexpensive. Can get all the parts to rebuild the front end of the car new for a few hundred bucks. Problem is the headlamps cost more than all those parts.

I'm amazed it costs in excess of $200 to get a pair of aftermarket headlamps for a 2007 Kia Spectra.

Long story is, they were in costco parking lot. A lady was speeding. She hit the front of their car so hard it pushed them up into the curb where they plant the trees at the ends of the parking lot rows.

It decimated the whole front clip on the car and tripped the fuel cutoff. I didn't know at the time I went to pick them up where the fuel cutoff was and the silly mechanic didn't either so he quoted a damn fortune to fix the car, $5,000. I told them I'd look at it for them and in less than 30 minutes I had it all figured out and reset the fuel cutoff.

I pulled the front clip and bumper back out so we could possibly fasten a radiator and headlamps in there. However, it's going to be easier to get the font clip and bumper... is like $120.

Sad part of story is, they moved here from Vietnam. I helped them buy their home (am a realtor). They lost their job right after they moved in and had their baby. Now they are food stamps and searching very hard for work...

And the lady that hit them is denying was her fault. The insurance settled against them despite was obviously speeding so they get no money to fix their car. Without their car they cannot find work. They currently borrowed money from family back home to rent a car... but for less than they rented the car we could have fixed this.

"Core support" seems to be the more commonly-known name, particularly in the parts yard and truck realm. "Radiator support" seems to be the title more universally used among auto manufacturers. Beyond that, different manufacturers probably have their own labels for it.

there lucky those kia's can explode into fireballs of hell, all of the exploding cars in accidents I have read lately were all kia's, when my ex wife wrecked her suburban front end I used a crow bar and a couple really big channel locks and a monkey wrench and managed to get a lot of it straightened out, once it was all back together you cant tell anything happened unless you look underneath, lol it was also probably $5000 to have a shop do it and cost me $500 got lucky with some good parts from autowrecker and craigslist

Might be cheaper to buy a beater and swap the parts over. Get the Maguiar's lense restoration kit because they're probably yellow. My daughter has a 2007 Spectra, tell me about that fuel cutoff if you don't mind.

Fuel cutoff was a cinch. It's located by top of driver side strut in engine compartment. Looks like a little black can. The top of it is a button. Click it and it turns fuel pump back on. Really simple and pretty cool protection.

One of the photos is from the wreck. The lady hit them so hard she pushed them into the boulevard and nearly ripped off whole front of car. I stopped by their house to see how they were doing between appointments at work. They said pretty bad because the lady lied... She told insurance they didn't stop to look if she was coming. However, my friend's had stopped. I think after looking at the damages there's no way she wasn't speeding when she hit them. It even bent the engine cradle.

There is a frame shop around the corner from their house. Hopefully he can straighten that stuff out. Otherwise I think they may need a new car. I'm pretty sure I couldn't get that straight enough w/ a come along to have it drive correctly. Their car was like new and very low miles when they go hit.

Pretty sad story. Thanks for the help everybody. We have located the parts too, just need to know what frame shop says.

Oh, right now I cannot figure out how to get the windshield sprayer disconnected. The line goes to sprayers on the hood. The clips are different than I've seen before on this Kia. I tried but broke the first clip and stopped.
