Hey,

2 Months ago I bought my first 2 door K1500 Yukon.

It was a 1 owner car
134,000 original miles
Barn Find

In the last two months, I've re welded the aging frame, replaced the Dampers (shocks), torsion bar, brake lines, rotor, calipers, drums from pistons to shoes, and the usual fluids, hoses, clamps, filters, etc...

Next is to replace with OEM exterior and interior parts.

My goal is to restore with minimal mods for modern conveniences.

I've been here 2 moths already and everyone's posts have been Uber helpful.

FIRST TEST : Off Road beaching down the OBX next month. Hopefully the project will be done in time.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

3 blocks from the beach tp home..... Sea Rust eats everything

After I finish cleaning the frame I'm spraying it with Corroseal. It should provide a lot of protection.

Welcome from Miami Beach Matt. Nice find on your 1 owner 2 door K1500 Yukon!! Spent a lot of weekends in Seaside heights when I used live in the NYC area.

I'm glad I joined here. I'm already learning lots of cool tricks and tips for my Resto.

And I appreciate any advice. I'm looking to make this as modern performing and reliable as possible while keeping the OEM look.
