I personally don't like those bottle jacks and always have had an actual floor jack in mine. I just use a ratchet strap with the tie downs in the back to keep it in place.Does anyone know the proper way the jack is stored in the compartment? I have it this way.View attachment 203431
The manuel, which doesn't show a great pic.View attachment 203432
I can't figure out where this belongs.View attachment 203433
Anyone have an idea?
I did that part, I just like to have things the way they should be. Fortuneately I've never had to use it--yet.I personally don't like those bottle jacks and always have had an actual floor jack in mine. I just use a ratchet strap with the tie downs in the back to keep it in place.
If I remember correctly u have to pump up the bottle jack to lock it into place. I need to check and see if mine is still there lol.

Ahh, ok. I'm missing that wing nut, of course. Only thing I've ever used was the bar to try and drop the spare, which sux.you hook that part in your hand under the jack, then put it through the holes in the wheel chocks, then theres a plastic wing nut to snug it all up, this way nothing rattles back there.
i found mine all tossed in there when i got it, had to make it right.

Me too. It would make for a long day--or night, if I did need it.i had to check and see if mine worked, lowered it 6 inches all worked smooth, put it back up. hope i never need it.
