New to this forum. Had my truck for 4 years, 1998 gmc yukon slt.

Planning on doing a nice audio system. I already have everything that i took out of my totaled 2015 tacoma.

Planning on doing the amp rack within my not-yet-created center console. 2 hifonics 2ks and a 800 watt hifonics amp for my mids and highs. I plan to use 2 marine fans to move air through console and cool amps.

Gunna have 2 crescendo pwx 8s in the doors up front and undecided on the tweets, have some super tweets that were in my tacoma that were WAY to harsh.

Subs i have 2 soundqubed hdc315s that do great at making bass. Just need to make a box for the yukon.

Questions i have for the community are :
suggestions on the best place to run 2 runs of 1/0 guage into the cab at.

How to get the rear hatch to stop leaking when it rains. Its coming through the place ive seen in here at the meeting of the seals at top of tailgate. Would new seals fix that as adjusting bolts has proven ineffective?

Lmc truck has all 3 for 110 total.

Anyway staytuned for the consolebuild.

I'm afraid I don't have any advice but I have a 2 door and am having trouble deciding where to put my amps. I don't know about the doors but the rear seat on the 2 door is no good for putting amps under. All I have some up with is a custom rack in the truck which I'm not thrilled about

It appears the center console should work. Or maybe mount to your box.

I’m currently in the middle of doing the same project on my 96 2dr Tahoe and I also had the issue with the water leak, you most likely need new strikers and/or latches. I replaced the weatherstrip on my truck just because I could tell it wasn’t in great condition I got the three pieces from LMC.
I’m stuck on where to put the amps I may try to put them behind the rear panel and set Nd forget them but I’m also debating on flipping the direction of the rear seats and make them face backwards and mount everything under the seats i’ll Try to keep you posted
