Gello im new to this forum and I just recently bout a beautiful 1998 gmc yukon it's awesome but has some flaws. I guess the last owner did some stuff I'm trying to undo. Like they removed the tail pipe to get a louder sound out of it. I want to tone it down. What should I do.ed25df5f4e4426a32dbcbff3e35a12eb.jpgcd35d5d61469af193c2dabf60bd075e5.jpg09b6ef26d8254544073a0b092765ba5c.jpg

That looks like a rustmast... uhh Flowmaster muffler. Well you could have an exhaust shop put dual outlets on the end of that muffler, two on one side of the truck or one on each side. That's a loud muffler and probably resonates in the cab right? If that bothers you then look into a cat back system, again either a kit or have a muffler shop weld one up for you, most carry Walker/Dynomax mufflers.

ya you can have a quieter muffler and/or the rest of the pipe/s put back on there, should run you around $300-350 if there asking more than that your getting taken for a ride shop elsewhere., pipes only would be a bit less and should help a little
