They can support up to 500 HP?

Please... You can run a donkey d*ck cam in an LQ9 and make close to that!

Maybe, but a 3000-8000+ RPM power band, crap idle, and 5.xx gears aren't really ideal for a Tahoe/Yukon on the street.

"This s/c unit is capable of flowing enough air for over 500hp. Depending on what's underneath it."

It clearly states that it depends what's underneath it... You could make a streetable 400hp from a LQ9. So this supercharger under ideal conditions is capable of only flowing 500 HP?

Anyway, this unit screams China. It's designed for a LQ4/LQ9 in the 2000-2006 Tahoe with the 4.8/5.3 VortecH?

I see their FB page was taken down. That says enough for me. Probably thieves. Funny they say it's " based" on an Eaton.

Any supercharger's gains will depend on what's underneath it and they don't say ONLY 500 HP, they say it's "capable of flowing enough air for over 500hp". Maybe they picked 500hp as the median number as smaller, nearly-stock engines should see mid- to upper-400s and the larger displacement engines should see closer to 500 or more, all depending on mods.

I'm not trying to defend them, just saying their numbers sound realistic based on the M122's output.

My opinion is that it's an Eaton knock-off and I wouldn't trust it. The expense of a rebuild or replacement engine due to ingesting exploded supercharger fragments will far outweigh the savings. Also, they have me skittish in the first sentence with "based on..." and they totally lose me in the third sentence with "Designed to fit the LQ4/LQ9 engine in the 2000 to 2006 Tahoe/Yukon/Silverado/Sierra vehicles with the 4.8/5.3 Vortech engines." Everything else they say in the ad about fitment doesn't make much sense to me, either.
