Sure. I honestly haven't gone all the way through it yet, but figured it's a good one to read first. Also, @Red Rocket has done this, too. Not sure if it's in the build thread.. Maybe he'll come in and link us if it is...
I didn't really take pictures so there's just a quick mention in my build thread. There's plenty of write-ups out there although there's variations of where the grounds are connected. That's why there's a Big 3, 4 or sometimes 5. Some say ground the battery to frame, battery to block, frame to block, and then there's alternator case to frame. I went with battery to frame and then alternator where it bolts to the engine to the frame which should cover the frame to block as well as alternator case to frame. I'll probably hear from some that's wrong but I feel OK about it!

Here's a thought, how about an inline circuit breaker? How many amps would it have to be for the battery to alternator wire?

Some people use an inline fuse. The fuse needs to be rated higher than your alternator output. Circuit breakers are normally used for something that would trip occasionally.

I know it's overkill, I just thought I would look cool. I used to do car stereos and have seen all kinds of fuse setups, and circuit breakers under the hood always impressed me.
