My 2016 Tahoe LTZ 5.3L 2wd 6 speed always seems to shift too early under normal driving conditions...which makes it feel a bit less-responsive when trying to speed up.

I read somewhere that driving in tow/haul mode holds the shift pattern a little longer...which is what I'm looking for.

Is there a problem with driving in this mode for long periods without actually pulling a load (trailer/boat)?
